Why Vast 209
Vast 209 is an outdoor integrated energy storage cabinet rated at 50 kW and 209 kWh, built on 314 Ah cells in a 1P208S string at 665.6 VDC. It is designed for small and medium-sized commercial and industrial facilities, combining photovoltaic access, battery storage, grid interaction and intelligent scheduling in one unit. Multiple cabinets can be connected in parallel to build MWh-level systems.
Integrated intelligent control
Photovoltaics, energy storage, the grid and diesel generators are managed under unified scheduling, with an EMS that optimizes the energy strategy in real time.
Storage capacity and flexible expansion
209 kWh of available energy covers sustained peak demand. The modular design supports parallel connection of multiple cabinets for expansion to MWh-level systems.
Grid interaction
Built to grid connection standards with anti-islanding protection and grid support functions, and switches seamlessly between grid-connected, off-grid and hybrid modes.
Features
Liquid cooling
The battery is liquid cooled and charges from 0 °C to 55 °C, discharges from -20 °C to 55 °C and operates at altitudes up to 2,000 m.
0.5C charge and discharge
Standard charging and discharging rate of 0.5C, with maximum charging and discharge currents of 215 A across a 520 to 748.8 VDC voltage range.
Quick-connect power interface
Power connections use a quick plug-and-unplug interface, and the battery is built from 1P52S packs forming a 1P208S cell string.
