Why Star 215
Star 215 is an outdoor integrated cabinet that combines lithium iron phosphate batteries, a PCS, temperature control and fire protection in one enclosure of approximately 1.4 × 1.5 × 2.2 m. It is deployed outdoors without additional civil works and supports grid-connected and off-grid operation alongside photovoltaics and diesel generators. Multiple cabinets can be connected in parallel to reach MWh-level capacity.
All-in-one outdoor cabinet
Battery, PCS, temperature control and fire protection are integrated in one cabinet that installs outdoors without additional civil works. The compact footprint of approximately 1.4 × 1.5 × 2.2 m suits space-constrained sites.
Liquid-cooled batteries
Battery liquid cooling holds the cell temperature difference to ≤3 °C to support cycle life and stability. The specification table rates charging from 0 °C to 35 °C and discharging from -20 °C to 55 °C.
Modular expansion
Standardized cabinets connect in parallel to scale to MWh-level capacity, and on-site installation and commissioning take 3 to 5 days.
Features
Energy management
System efficiency of ≥88% under measured conditions, four-quadrant operation and seamless switching between charging and discharging. The integrated PCS supports grid-connected and off-grid modes and works with photovoltaics and diesel generators.
Layered safety
Lithium iron phosphate cells rated for 6,000 cycles at 90% DoD and 25 °C, a perfluorohexane automatic fire extinguishing system, IP65/IP54 protection and IEC 62619 certification.
Remote monitoring
Modbus over RS-485 or RJ-45 links the cabinet to energy management platforms, with operating status, battery data and fault warnings available on mobile and PC.
