Green Hydrogen Technology

DWE: Decoupled Water Electrolysis

Hyper-flexible. Ultra-low CAPEX. Lowest Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH), direct to renewables.

Ultra-Low CAPEX

No membrane, no PGM, no PFAS. Simplified assembly drives costs down dramatically.

Hyper-Flexible

Unlimited ON/OFF cycles, instant response to power changes, wide load range operation.

Built for Renewables

Direct connection to solar and wind. No batteries needed. Captures profitable power windows.

How DWE Revolutionizes Electrolysis

Traditional electrolyzers are not fit for renewables. DWE solves this with a two-phase process that separates hydrogen and oxygen production by time.

Phase 1

Phase 1: Hydrogen Production

Generate hydrogen & Charge counter-electrode

Renewable electricity flows to the bi-functional electrode where it reduces water molecules to form hydroxide ions and hydrogen molecules. The counter electrode reacts with hydroxide ions, forming water molecules and charging the electrode.

HER: 4H₂O + 4e⁻ → 4OH⁻ + 2H₂

Why Traditional Electrolyzers Fall Short

Built for consistency and baseload - relics of a past era not suited for renewable energy.

Alkaline

  • Low efficiency at low load
  • Can't operate below 30% load
  • Degradation when turning off
  • Long ramp-up times

PEM

  • CAPEX too high
  • Turning off has penalties
  • Uses Platinum Group Metals
  • Contains harmful PFAS chemicals

DWE Technology Benefits

How DWE delivers the lowest Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH)

Ultra-Low CAPEX

Removes the most expensive components of traditional electrolyzers

  • No membrane needed - gases separate naturally
  • Low-cost materials - operates at ambient temperature
  • No Platinum Group Metals (PGM)
  • No harmful PFAS chemicals

Hyper-Flexible Operation

Designed for the intermittent nature of renewable energy

  • Unlimited ON/OFF cycles with no degradation
  • Quick ramp up and down in real-time
  • Wide load range operation
  • High efficiency at partial loads

Lowest LCOH

Optimized for renewable energy integration

  • Direct connection to solar and wind
  • No batteries or grid backup needed
  • Captures most profitable power windows
  • Continuous cost-effective output

Safe & Sustainable

Built for the clean energy era

  • Operates at ambient temperature
  • Plastic-based stacks for safety
  • No regulatory ban risks
  • Secure supply chain
